Tufts in the World

The number of stages on the route from Medford to Talloires will depend on your goals: those who choose fewer minutes per day go more directly, but those who like to meander may take as many as 2 hours per day to arrive. And for the 2012 Trek everyone begins and finishes together.

No matter your route you will travel through some highlighted Tufts destinations and some pretty cool checkpoint stops along the way. Remember, since the challenge is virtual, some of the distances and hours it takes to span them have been managed to fit into the parameters for the Trek. As you pass through each checkpoint we'll give you a metaphorical thumbs-up and a small virtual token of our appreciation for your success to date. Above all keep in mind that the number of hours you log is important, not your choice of activity or how fast you go.
